KimClearyI live with MS, and manage chronic pain and fatigue daily. I also love animals, eat too much chocolate and live comfortably in the present with my husband and my lovely dogs Billie and Miles.

graveyardI’ve always been fascinated by magic, and by death and its rituals. It’s not surprising that when I decided to write, I started with a paranormal theme. I’ve always longed to discover that I have extraordinary powers, and I write for people just like me. I prefer happy endings, so I write about hope and determination, and about heroes who push through extraordinary situations and obstacles. Of course, this is fantasy, so magical friends and gorgeous guys have firm places amongst the characters.

I also blog; about ghosts, dragons, my writing, magic, health and anything else that happens to tickle my fancy, but not as often as I’d like. Life, and novel writing, seem to get in the way.

billiereadingI work with a great team of editors, designers, beta-readers and supporters, and I aim to deliver the best quality book I can. Not just the story I write, but the cover, the book design, everything to as high a standard as possible. I danced and beamed my way around my kitchen when my debut novel Path Unchosen won a bronze medal in the 2015 Independent Publisher Book Awards!

Reader feedback is the best gift, but winning a prestigious award comes a very close second 🙂

miles1It couldn’t have come at a better time, it was a great fillip as I launched into the final edits for Truth Unveiled, book two in the Ravenswood series. With that novel launched, I’m now working on a novella in the same series, one that takes our heroine and hero into different territory as they clash with both the undead in one of the old cities, and the military who are trying to protect the remaining people there.

Hello Kim. I saw you listed in the A to Z Challenge for this year, but I don’t see where the posts are here.
    Your books sound interesting.
