My husband is quite addicted to cycling. It’s possibly a healthy obsession (apart from the cost and recovery time from accidents 😀 ) It certainly keeps him away from home for most of the weekend. He cycles, stops for a coffee and a chat, and cycles some more. The bike is well travelled and often photographed in scenic locations along the ride.
I have many hours home alone. It’s perfect for writing. The whole house becomes my writing cave! Perfect for using my voice software without feeling a bit silly. For indulging in coffee and chocolate to feed my muse.
Of course, I also have my weekends free of interference to indulge in other things, like…
Playing MY favourite music and singing along, loudly and badly.
Dancing around the house and pretending I can actually dance.
Covering every flat surface in our home with decoupage paper, using glue like a five year old and then photographing my handiwork from alternative locations.
Grooming my fur-babies like a show dog mommy, including all the silly sound effects you would expect … who’s mummy’s little fluffy angel etc … you get the idea 😀

Most importantly, he enjoys himself. I recharge my batteries. Everyone ends up happy!
Except maybe Miles … he’s not overfond of a thorough grooming 😀
